Amina

Office Manager, Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant

Amina brings extensive optometric practice experience to her position as Milton Family Eye Care’s office manager. She is committed to providing our patients with outstanding eye care. Her wide range of skills means that you’ll find her hard at work in many areas of the practice. Amina is also pleased to help patients in Afrikaans, Tamil, and Hindi.

Angela

Angela brings years of patient care experience from her background in chiropractic.  She is also a consummate organizer, having been involved in numerous associations and groups at the organizational level as her children (now young adults) were growing up.  She is delighted in her role at Milton Family Eye Care helping to provide our patients with an exceptional eye care experience.

Intissar

Intissar joined Milton Family Eye Care in 2012 after moving to Milton with her young family. She loves guiding patients through our high tech testing and she is always keen to learn new information and techniques to help serve our patients better in her position as an optometric technician.  Intissar is also happy to help patients in Arabic or French.

Janet

Janet joined us in 2018 with years of health care experience with a different kind of patient: animals (horses in particular)!  Her background in biology and decades of work as a riding instructor have contributed to the technical knowledge and calm manner that she brings to the role she loves as an optometric technician.

Irene

Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant, Student Optician

Irene joined our team in 2019, with an extensive background in health care. She started with us as an optometric technician and qualified as a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant in 2020. COVID created a new opportunity for her in our dispensary, where she discovered her passion for eyewear, and she’s excited to be training to become a licensed optician. Irene is very happy to use her fluent Spanish whenever needed!

Nikki

The newest smiling face at the front desk is Nikki, whom we were happy to welcome to our team in summer, 2019. Nikki's past experience includes years of customer service, as well as clinical research coordination. She loves the  friendly environment at Milton Family Eye Care and especially enjoys meeting and working with our patients!

Devin

Student Optician

Devin is the most recent addition to our team, joining us in 2021 with valuable experience in optometry and customer service.  She is studying to become a licensed optician, and she is enthusiastic about tying her fresh knowledge together with the expert training she’s getting from our veteran eye care professionals to provide our patients with the best eyewear solutions.

Terri

Licensed Optician

Terri joined the Milton Family Eye Care team of licensed opticians in 2017 and she loves to provide our patients with customized, fashionable eyewear solutions. She enjoys working with people of all ages to help them look and see their best.  Terri is proud to be our second team member (along with Dr. Jany) with more than thirty years of experience as an eye care professional!

Susan

Licensed Optician

Susan brings over two decades of experience as an eye care professional to her role as a member of Milton Family Eye Care’s dispensing team.  With her strong interest in the technical aspects of lens design and a real appreciation of how important eyewear is to personal style, Susan is keen to help our patients find eyewear that is fashionable, functional, and fun!

Judy

Bookkeeper-Retired

After seven wonderful years with Milton Family Eye Care, Judy has retired from her role as office manager in order to dedicate her administrative and organizational skills to her family’s growing businesses.  She continued to serve as the practice’s bookkeeper until the disruptions of the pandemic
