Dr. Beth Schellenberg has been a part of Milton Family Eye Care since 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax in 2009. In 2013, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean’s Honor List from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo. 

As part of her training, Dr. Schellenberg completed an internship with Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore Maryland. There she received extensive training in the treatment and management of ocular disease, with an emphasis on cataracts, glaucoma and diabetes. She also participated in an eyecare mission in Lima Peru, where she completed eye examinations and dispense glasses to those in need. 

Since graduation Dr. Schellenberg has been a proud member of both the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Optometry. 

In 2025, Dr. Susan Jany retired after many years of wonderful patient care. At that time Dr. Schellenberg took over the practice with Dr. Benu Sabharwal. She is committed to maintaining the high standards of care that have been provided over the many decades in the heart of Milton. 

Outside the office Dr. Schellenberg stays busy with her husband and two young daughters.
