Dr. Beth Schellenberg joined Milton Family Eye Care in 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax in 2009. In 2013, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean’s Honour List from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo. As an Optometry student, she worked with Dr. Sieunarine on a research study comparing progressive lenses.
Dr. Schellenberg completed an internship with Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore, Maryland where she received extensive training in the treatment and management of ocular disease, with an emphasis on glaucoma, diabetes, and cataracts. After graduation, she practiced in an independent group practice in Toronto where she enjoyed caring for patients of all ages. With a recent re-location to Halton, Dr. Schellenberg is excited to bring her passion for pediatric vision care, binocular vision, and eye health to Milton Family Eye Care. She is a proud member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Optometry.
